Here is the finished alphabet minus "U" and "X" (I needed to cut two so I could get a nice shape for the design, and what animal begins with those letters?) I'll do some neato promo stuff with this one... Posted by Hello

Regan,
Is that a Fox in the " V " box in the alphabet picture?

"V" for Vixen! Hence, we got a foxy Virginia on our hands :)

I did come across some alphabet issues... For instance, we thought about V for Viper, but then at first read you see a snake for V... A vulture might be mistaken for a buzzard or a condor... A Vole would look like a mouse for V... So "V" was just a toughie.

I also just chose Wombat for W, and that's not as recognizable as a walrus, but I had a seal already. A wildebeast would work, but it wasn't a pretty animal and I had a Yak right next door...

And I think one of my kid's books had a Vixen for V, too. However, what I found when I "Googled" Vixen on the internet would NOT be appropriate for children! Yikes!
